Love & Care

To ensure your pieces will last for a lifetime they require the proper love and care. Follow our guide for optimal results.

Pay special attention when putting your garments on or removing them to any sharp edges, rings, fingernails or heels for example, our fabrics are strong and durable but not indestructible.

BODY-WEAR AND LINGERIE

Our soft and strong performance fabrics are of the highest quality and all OEKO-TEX certified.

Hand washing is recommended. Put your piece in a lukewarm bath and use an organic mild detergent. Leave your piece to soak for a view minutes and gently rub the fabric together on any marks. Rinse well with water until it is free from soap. To dry, gently press the water out of the garment (do not wring it) and lay it flat on a towel.

Machine washing: using a washing bag to catch microfibres, wash on the delicate cycle at 30 using a mild organic detergent. Do not wash together with garments of rough or textured fabric. To dry, gently press the water out of the garment, (do not wring it) and lay it flat on a towel.

*Do not tumble dry, our fabrics dry very fast without any need of tumble drying. The heat can be dangerous for the fabric and it can lose form and colour.  

For the ultimate finish give it a steam after it has completely dried.

 

WOOL

Hand washing in water is the softest and safest method of washing wool. Put your piece in a cold bath. Use an organic mild detergent especially for wool. This is very important as with a regular detergent the wool will felt. Leave your piece to soak for a few minutes. Rinse well with water until it is free from soap. Gently press the water out, do not wring it. Lay it flat on a towel to dry. For the ultimate finish give it a steam after it has completely dried. Do not tumble dry wool. The heat will cause the wool to shrink and felt.

Try to wash wool pieces as little as possible. Mostly a breeze of fresh air is enough to get odours out since wool does naturally not absorb them.

 

SILKS 

Silk is one of the most fabulous natural materials. It keeps you warm when it is cold and cool when it is hot. It is soft and sensitive. 
Please bring your silk pieces to the dry cleaner only, make sure the dry cleaner is specialized in silks to get the best treatment for your piece.

 

NOTES:

*When handling your pieces pay special attention to any sharp edges, also on rings and fingernails, our fabrics are strong and durable but not indestructible .

*Be careful with gold trimmings and always place them down gently so the metal does not get any scratches.
